Where's my rubber duck...

or how I train ny daughters to use hammers and power drills.

Okay, okay, I admit I am more of a thinker than a do-er. I like to sit, and boss the kids around. The latest project, build a little walkway, level some ground, and get ready for an above-ground pool. I even took some pictures (actually, so did the kids - of me!)

  1. Wow! You got that done fast. :D

Kids are already asking if they can bring their bathing suits on Friday. ;)

  2. Well, it's got about 2 inches of water in it. Figure it'll take a few days to fill it, off and on. Plus, I've still gotta' install & plumb the solar heater, plus run hydro out to the deck so's we can plug in the pump. Should have it all done by July (kidding... I hope!)

  3. Awesome. I would of linked to your post, to PROVE you have your own shite to do, but you just posted what, last week? I wasn't expecting another one for at least a month;p

Looks good. And I'm still using the mad hammer skillz I learned building the barn with you. Elena and Tiana with have a usable life skill when this is done. Awesome.

  4. It is a nice pool. I can't wait to get my bikini.

And yes, the skills you've taught your daughters have come in handy!

  5. When the cat's away, the mouse will play. I tell you, go away for a day and come back, and things are DONE! Now if we can only find the leak...
